Jeremy is my step-son and the father of our wonderful grand-daughters, Anne-Marie and Audrey.
Sometimes, if you’re lucky, special people come into your life. And if you’re even luckier, they hang in there with you through good times and not so good times.
Jeremy is a very special man. He is an extremely loving father and husband and an all around good person. Our relationship defines what family is really all about. It doesn’t always require the same blood, but certainly brings a bond of honor and respect that makes life meaningful.
The Maid of Honor: Heather Killion
Ah, Heather. Where to start? I guess at the beginning.
I’ve know Heather since she was just a wee one, the daughter of my family’s dear friends, Steve and Joann Killion. A great hole was left in our world when they both tragically passed away. Heather came to live with me in 1994 and since then we have created a miracle of love and family that would rival any Hallmark made for TV movie.
The Bridesmaids: Bring on the Girls!
Our lives are blessed with so many awesome young ladies, we felt our wedding wouldn’t be complete without them.
Anne-Marie and Audrey Loomis – The Granddaughters
Daughters of Jeremy (the Best Man) and Michelle Loomis, these little beauties are a super bright light in our lives. They are smart, talented and sweet. Well, we think they’re darn near perfect! One of the highlights of our year is the week in August when they stay with us for “Summer Fun at the River House”, along with their cousins Trinity and Nevaeh (more about them later). The Paul Girls – The Fabulous Sisters from Paragon Street
The Pauls have been such a special part of my life ever since Heather and I moved into our house in Rocklin in 1997. Dewey (Julia) was actually born the day we moved in. Living across the street I was lucky enough to enjoy the girls all the time they were growing up, until I moved away which they remind me often is not OK with them. All three girls are remarkable people and I count them as some the most special people in my life.
Our Very Special Nieces, Trinity and Neveah
These two wonderful young ladies are our Joel and Crystal's (brother and sister in-law) grand-daughters.
Luckily they live in Weaverville, so we get to enjoy their company somewhat regularily.
We just love them and are so happy they are going to be part of our big day.
Announcing the Ring Bearer
We are happy to say that little Wyatt is going to our ring bearer. He is Crystal and Joel's grandson, our neice Serena's son. He'll be two in May and is the cutest little guy in the whole world. Example here:
